De rode wijnen uit de Douro – de Portstreek – behoren tot de beste wat Portugal aan wijnen te bieden heeft. Modern gevinifieerd maar gemaakt van eigen druivensoorten. Iedereen die deze wijn proeft is verrast door het donkere, rijpe, zeer sappige, volle en zwoele karakter van de wijn. Je proeft de portdruiven, maar dan zonder de zoetheid. De wijn is samengesteld uit de druivensoorten Touriga Franca en Touriga Nacional. Zeer diep van kleur. Geurend naar kersen, kruiden en vuursteen. Stoer karakter, zeer vlezig en dik. Lange, volle afdronk met veel rijp fruit nuances. Een zeer verleidelijke wijn met een warm en rondborstig karakter<\/p>\n
